Amy was born and raised on Long Island, New York as a beach bum. In the summer, she loves to go back home to surf. Amy's main focus though is track and field. As a Jayhawk, she captured the national NCAA title twice in the women’s pole vault. She is looking forward to making it a career and representing the United States in international competitions. Amy is finishing her undergraduate degree in Communications and Education. Eventually she would like to get her Masters in Physical Education so she can teach and coach.
